VYPE: How did your season turn out and what were your goals?
Naomi: My season so far has been amazing! Some of my goals have been to better myself as a dancer and an individual while continuing to participate in school activities as much as possible.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Naomi: In the last year with the team I’ve enjoyed team bonding and getting to know all of the new people while getting closer with my old teammates. I especially enjoyed bowling and getting to see the competitive side of everyone.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Naomi: My favorite teacher would have to be Ms. Nicks. She was my 3rd grade teacher and changed my way of thinking and still continues to leave a positive impact on everyone.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Naomi: My favorite athletic memory was achieving a state championship with the dance team after all of our hard work and it finally paid off.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Naomi: Bailee Rowe is one of my teammates and she is a persistent person. She knows what she wants to achieve with the goals she sets for herself and she always tries to achieve those goals, whether they’re long term or short term. Bailee also is always willing to listen to anyone and accommodate changes whether they’re big or small. She has left a huge impact on my life and still continues to and I am so appreciative towards her.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Naomi: My favorite part about being on the team is our bond and how we continue to support each other. I love how as a team, inside and outside of practice, we are friends and get along with each other well. We have our differences but we tend to set those aside in order to grow our bond with one another.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Naomi: If I could go anywhere for summer vacation I would go to Italy with my mom. Italy, in my opinion, is such a beautiful place and my mom and I have always wanted to go there.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into dance?
Naomi: 8. I first started dancing when I was 5 years old and I have now been dancing for 12. I’ve been doing studio dance for 12 years and dancing with the dance team for 4 years.

Naomi: I just want to thank all of my coaches and teachers for always pushing me to do my best. I also want to thank my parents for putting me in dance classes and allowing me to continue for this long.
