Verdigris baseball player Kamden Neal told VYPE in a recent interview that his “favorite part of the team is Coach Keith because of the ways he finds to win and all of the things he spouts off in practice”. He also said that “My sport has taught me to forget about things easily and to overcome obstacles”.

Alongside him throughout these obstacles is teammate “Luke Patterson has left the biggest impression on me because he’s always the guy that picks up the team”. Neal said that the two played in a regional game against Oologah where he “hit the game tying home run”.

Neal went on to Share that the person who inspires him the most “is my 22 year old brother Austin Neal. Growing up in a competitive household usually your brother who is 5 years older than you beats you in just about every game you play and if it wasn’t for our live at-bats that we still do to this day I don’t know if I would be where I am today” said Neal.

This season Neal explained that he will be working toward two goals – throwing harder and staying healthy.
