VYPE: How long have you played soccer?
Bevard: I have been playing soccer for 10 years.
VYPE: What first got you interested in the sport?
Bevard: My mom got me interested in soccer. She used to play and hoped I would love it as much as her.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time competing for your high school?
Bevard: My favorite memory so far with my high school team was last year against Miami going into overtime then to PKs and winning!
VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against? If so, why?
Bevard: My favorite opponent to compete against is Claremore Sequoyah. It’s always a good, close game.
VYPE: Let’s talk about your teammates. Which player on your team would you not want to go up against? Who is the fastest? The loudest? Who keeps everyone laughing?
Bevard: I would not want to go up against Averie Deegan. She’s a great player with good ball skill. She would definitely beat me! I think the fastest teammate is Lizzie Garza and the loudest goes to Isabel East. She’s always cheering us on, on and off the field! Mackenzie Trisler and Avery Phillips always keep the team laughing.
VYPE: What is your go to post-game meal?
Bevard: My go to post game meal is definitely some good ole Mexican food at Las Parrillas in Catoosa!
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model and why?
Bevard: The person I look up to is my mom, she is my biggest supporter. She always pushes me to do my best. No matter the day, the weather, or the time she always comes to my games and supports me through everything.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school?
Bevard: My favorite subject in school is Biology.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
Bevard: My plans after high school are to attend college, hopefully play soccer and receive a nursing degree, specializing in pediatrics.
